Welcome to Dove Class! 

Dove class consists of children aged 5-7 who are in Year 1 and Year 2. Our teacher is Mrs. Robinson and we also have Mrs. Wood to support us in our classroom. We have two very spacious classrooms we get to work in. One of our classrooms has table and chairs for us all and the other is set-up for continuous provision, consisting of an Enquiry Area, a Construction Area, A Small World and Blocks Area, A Computing Area, A Maths Area and A Writing Area, which we access in the afternoons to do independent learning, our foundation subjects and some teacher-led learning.  

We start our day reading and saying good morning to everyone in our class, then throughout the morning we do Maths, Phonics, Spelling, English, Reading and Collective Worship. Our afternoons are when we focus on our foundation subjects whether than be within the areas of provision within the classroom or working with Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Wood. We love our independent time and getting to choose how we showcase our learning, exploring our interests and learning about R.E, History, Geography, Computing, Art, D&T, Music and PSHE.  

At the end of the day, we all sit back down together to enjoy a lovely story before we go home.
