Welcome to Puddle Ducks!

Flookburgh C of E Primary & Nursery School is now welcoming 2-year olds to join us in our Nursery as part of Puddle Ducks and full and part time hours are now available.

From April 2024, eligible working families in England with a 2-year old can now claim up to 15 hours of free childcare.

If you would like to join our wonderful school and take advantage of the expanded 15 hours of government funding, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you!

Work full time and need full time childcare hours? No problem, just come and speak to us for details and to arrange. Our 2-year olds began their learning journey with us on Tuesday; it has been such a treat to hear the laughter, see the smiles and watch the amazement on the children’s and staff’s faces, as they explore the beautiful new classroom and outdoors – they were real ‘whizzes’ on the scooters and balance bikes!

We enjoyed a wonderfullly attended Open Morning today; lots of new parents came to see and look around. The children (and parents!) were all sad to leave at the end of the morning as they were having such a great time!

We have further Open Mornings planned; the next one will be on Friday 17th May between 8.45am and 11.45am to which you are warmly invited.
