Welcome to the Class 4 page! We are Year 5 and Year 6. Our teacher is Miss Fitzsimons. Mrs. Pett and Miss Horne teach us PE every Wednesday afternoon.

Our topic for this term is ‘Inspiration, Ingenuity and Innovation’ and we will link as many subjects to this as we can during the Spring term.

Our Christian value is ‘Hope’ and we will explore this value in depth over the next few weeks.

In Science we will be looking at electricity and our homework will be linked to this too.

Brathay Residential

We all went off to Brathay Hall on the northern shores of Windermere for three days of exciting outdoor adventure activities! Below are some highlights from our residential.

BAE Robotics Workshop

Class 4 were lucky to be joined by a team from BAE in Barrow for a day of fun-filled robotics activities! They had to design a build robots capable of completing various missions, including navigating courses, racing each other and even bowling and skittles!

Cycling Proficiency Test

02/02/18

Last week, many children from Class 4 undertook the Cycling Proficiency programme. We practised skills and manoeuvres both in our playground and on the roads around the school. The good news is that we all passed with flying colours! Hopefully we will all be out on our bikes a lot more from now on.
